What is a Domain Name?
A Domain Name (for example, YourName.info) is a very valuable asset to a kennel, stable, association or an individual. It provides a quick and easy way for your clients and customers to find you on the Web and to send you e-mail. However, the supply of Domain Names is limited and virtually all superior names have been registered.

What is a top level domain (TLD)?
Often called extensions, the most common TLD's are .com, .net, .org, .info and .biz. Although new "country code" TLD's are becoming more and more popular such as .nz for New Zealand. Transferring a Domain Name
How is my Domain transferred to me?
The person who owns the Domain Name must transfer that Domain Name to you. They do it by requesting the change with their Registrar. Any name bought through this site will be transferred at no additional charge to the buyer. To do this, we will need your:

Name
Address
Corporate Name
Phone number
Email address

This information is who you want the Domain Name to be registered to. You may use the same information for the Billing Conatct and Administrative Contact as well. If you choose to have a different Billing or Administrative Contract, that is just fine too. And they will need to know what servers the Domain Name will reside on. If you do not yet know what server you want to put it on, we can host it on the DAWWN.COM servers for up to six months at no additional charge.

All Domain Names typically have between one and two years already paid for. If you wish to extend your registration, it can be extended up to a total of 10 years for an additional $19.95 per year.

What happens once I buy an AnimalDomains.com Domain Name?
When you submit your completed form to buy a Domain Name, you will be contacted at the email address that you listed to get the Contact Information and to take you through the transfer process associated with the transfer.

Full ownership of the Domain Name will be transferred to you and you will be helped to fill in all parts of the form and then helped to change the password to the one that you choose for full control over your own Domain Name.

How valuable are these other top level domains?
As .com's are becoming more and more scarce .net, .org, .cc, .info, and .biz names are all becoming more valuable.

How do I register Domain Names that are not listed on the AnimalDomains.com site?

If it is available, follow their easy steps in order to register it. (You won't lose your place on this site, since it will open in a new window.)

What are the benefits of Free Parking?

If you already have a web site to transfer to this new Domain Name, the transfer should be functional within 72 hours. This is the time that it takes the registration transfer to be processed by the Registrar.
